Lars von Trier on one angry animal

Lars von Trier

Perching on a well-worn sofa, [Lars] von Trier surveys the cosy clutter around his studio. There's a big TV, piles of papers and a PS3 still in its box. "This is the deer that I shot," says the director pointing towards a deer's head mounted on the wall. The deer does not look like it's forgiven him. "No, it looks extremely mad!" laughs von Trier. "Every time I feel good, I look at this and I feel bad again."
