Outside the Ziegfeld, this is possibly the best single-screen commercial theatre in the city. The screen is quite large (in fact, this may be the only theatre in Manhattan where the screen is actually a bit too big for the auditorium it's in), and the sound system seems to be good. B. (Odell)

Nice enough joint, with a big screen and an actual balcony upstairs. Recently, movies like Afterglow and The Opposite of Sex have enjoyed nice, long runs in here, which makes it a very attractive way to spend an evening at some late date in a "smaller" film's engagement, by which time the Sony across the street would have long since shunted the movie down to one of the smaller, inferior basement theaters.
